A school crossing guard is accused of giving drugs to students at a Pennsylvania middle school and even smoking weed with at least one of them.

Delaware County police arrested 26-year-old Kiara Lee on Tuesday after she allegedly gave the children electronic cigarettes and edible marijuana.

Lee, a crossing guard at Penn Wood Middle School in Darby, Pennsylvania, was observed several times by a witness giving drugs and e-cigarettes to at least two students.

The student witness reported Lee to the school administration after one of the students told the school crossing guard that they frequently smoked weed with him.

According to WCAU, she was known to have given the teen e-cigarettes multiple times and the student was found to be in possession of marijuana.

A student’s guardian confirmed to police that Lee gave the child e-cigarettes and edible marijuana products, the outlet reported.

“We walk by every day and a lot of students see her passing it around and say, ‘Oh, let me vape, let me vape,'” one student told WTXF.

In addition to the unethical “gift giving,” Lee also reportedly had a text message conversation with one of the students in which they shared their experiences after consuming edibles.

Police officials strongly criticized Lee’s behavior and actions, saying it was unacceptable for anyone, especially school crossing guards, to give drugs to minors.

“Although marijuana may not seem like a big deal to some people in the community, I think we can all agree that school crossing guards should not be giving our children narcotics – even if it’s ‘just’ marijuana,” Darby County Chief Joseph Gabe said, according to WPVI.

“School crossing guards embody the role of a public servant. They are entrusted – quite literally – with the lives of our children and hold a sacred position of trust in communities across the state and the country,” said Delaware County District Attorney Stollsteimer.

“For one individual to abuse that trust is deeply disturbing and detrimental to the well-being of the entire community,” Stollsteimer added.

Parents in the community were outraged when they learned of Lee’s actions.

“It’s bad enough as a parent keeping your kids away from influences, but to hear that a church worker is also selling to kids is crazy,” Maya Bryant told Fox 29.

“It’s a disgrace that these people are standing on these street corners doing their job, protecting children, and now you’re telling me that the children are getting drugs from them? That’s just disgusting,” added Malekka Dade.

Lee was charged with two counts of drug possession with intent to resell, two misdemeanor counts of corruption of minors and two misdemeanor counts of marijuana possession, according to court records obtained by The Post.
