A man is dead after a crash on Schofield Road in Lake County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, this happened around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday west of Five Mile Road. According to police, two cars were involved. A 52-year-old man driving one car was killed, and a 39-year-old man in the second car was airlifted from the scene to hospital with serious injuries.
