Six people were killed and 16 injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine in the last 24 hours, regional authorities said on July 10.

Ukrainian air defense shot down 14 of the 20 Shahed combat drones launched by Russia on the night of July 10, reported Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk.

According to Oleshchuk, Moscow’s troops launched the drones from the Russian port city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk on the coast of the Sea of ​​Azov and from Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea, while one Iskander-M ballistic missile and four Kh-59/Kh-69 cruise missiles were fired from the peninsula.

Aircraft, missile and electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force intercepted the 14 drones over the Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia and Rivne oblasts, the commander said.

In addition, three Kh-59/69 missiles and three drones reportedly “missed their targets.”

The port infrastructure in the south Odessa Oblast was attacked by Russian missiles, said Governor Oleh Kiper. The debris damaged warehouses, trucks and a civilian ship.

Two men, a security guard and a truck driver, were killed and a sailor sustained injuries, the governor said.
