Man found dead in El Monte home, suspect arrested – San Gabriel Valley Tribune

While searching for a man, police discovered him dead in a house in El Monte on Tuesday evening, June 18.

A suspect has been arrested, the sheriff’s office said in a statement. Sheriff’s detectives are assisting El Monte police with the investigation.

Police received a call for a welfare check and went to the 10500 block of Bisby Street shortly before 6:30 p.m. There they found the man with an injury to his upper body, the sheriff’s statement said.

The identity of his name has not yet been publicly released by the coroner.

Investigators did not disclose where they found the suspect or what led them to the person.
